Protea Tours Terms & Conditions
PROTEA TOURS is a business in the hospitality industry, providing TOURING OPPORTUNITIES, PENSIONER AND GROUP TOUR BOOKINGS, TRANSPORTATION, ACCOMODATION AND CATERING.
Confirmation policy
• Subject to space and availability, upon booking, a non-refundable Deposit of R1000- 00, confirms your booking.
Return and Refunds Policy.
• The provision of goods and services by PROTEA TOURS is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, PROTEA TOURS will refund the client in full within 30 days.
• Cancellation of bookings by the client/guest will forfeit the R1000-00 non-refundable deposit. Please refer to Booking & Cancellation Terms below.
Client Information Privacy policy
• PROTEA TOURS shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
Payment options accepted
• Payment can be made via EFT, directly to The Business Bank Account(This is the preferred method of payment, banking details will be sent to the client once the booking has been made). Proof of payment must be sent through to the office who will then revert back by confirming the received payment.
• Cash Deposits are accepted, (Client is responsible for all and any fees relating to the transaction, whether cash deposit via ATM or in the Bank).
• Cash payments are accepted and can be done at the business address, the client will then be given a cash receipt confirming the payment.
Responsibility
• PROTEA TOURS takes no responsibility for any and all issues relating to the client making payment to the wrong account, as well as the client inputting the incorrect reference. It is the clients responsibility to follow all and any instructions informed by our bookings department relating to payment method via EFT. PROTEA TOURS takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website or via WhatsApp, customer service and support and dispute resolution.
• The Client is responsible for any and all Cancellation fees incurred.
• The Client is Responsible for any and all Entrance Fees for all activities advertised (
Must be Paid directly to PROTEA TOURS).
Country of domicile
• This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and PROTEA TOURS chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 18 Asteroid Avenue, Woodhurst, Durban, 4092.
Variation
• PROTEA TOURS may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Booking & Cancellation Terms
• We offer group bookings based on 2 sharing and so on, if a clients requests a single supplement the client is held responsible for the single supplement fee that will be advised by the bookings department.
• We offer Luxury coach transportation with toilet facilities, USB charging ports, Full Airconditioning and PA systems.
• All bookings require a NON_REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT od R1000-00 to secure the clients bookings.
• All entrance fees must be paid with the Booking Fee directly to PROTEA TOURS.
• Full-payment must be received 30 days prior to the departure date of your Booked
Tour.
• Any cancellations void the non-refundable deposit, any cancellations between 14 and
7 days prior to the tour departure will be subject to a 75% cancellation charge, for any cancellations between 6 and 0 days, 100% will be charged for the full tour booked.
Indemnity
• The client fully understands and accepts that this activity shall be undertaken at his/her own risk.
• They undertake on behalf of their self, spouse and executors to indemnify, hold harmless and absolve the organizers of the trip of any or all damage, injury and loss of every description whether to person or property or otherwise which may occur to myself arising out of participation in such activity and throughout the duration of the tour.
• By proceeding with booking and paying non-refundable deposit, the client accepts that PROTEA TOURS and Its Staff are not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold them liable for any sickness, injury, damage, or loss the client may suffer on the account of any conditions, actions of the client due to consumption of alcohol or any and all substances that could cause negligence of self-control and mind effects or any omissions that are beyond reasonable control.
